Jaipur Tourist Places with Timings and Entry Fees
Amer Fort
One of the most unique and magnificent palace which is located on a hill near Jaipur. It has a beautiful architecture with a museum and a sound and light show in the evening.
Timings: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm to 9:15 pm. Entry fee: INR 100 for Indians and INR 550 for foreigners.
Hawa Mahal
Signature building of Jaipur, also known as the palace of the winds. The structure has a unique design with 953 windows that allow the breeze to flow through. It also offers a panoramic view of the city below.
Timings are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Entry fee: INR 50 for Indians and INR 200 for foreigners.
City Palace
The main palace from where the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh reigned. It has a series of courtyards, buildings, and gardens that showcase the royal heritage of Jaipur. It also has a museum that displays various artefacts, paintings and costumes.
Timings are 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Entry fee: INR 200 for Indians and INR 700 for foreigners.
Nahargarh Fort
This is another fort that stands on the Aravali hills, offering a spectacular view of the city and the sunset. It also has a cafe and a wax museum inside.
Timings are 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Entry fee: INR 50 for Indians and INR 200 for foreigners.
Jantar Mantar
An astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century. It has a collection of instruments that measure time, celestial bodies, and horoscopes. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Timings are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Entry fee: INR 50 for Indians and INR 200 for foreigners.
Jal Mahal
A palace that seems to be floating on the Man Sagar Lake, surrounded by the Aravali hills. It has a unique architecture that blends Rajput and Mughal styles. It is not open for visitors, but you can admire its beauty from the shore or take a boat ride around it.
Timings are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The boat ride fee is INR 50 for Indians and INR 150 for foreigners.
Albert Hall Museum
This is the oldest museum in Rajasthan. It has a rich collection of paintings, sculptures, weapons, carpets, jewellery and other artefacts. The timings are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The entry fee is INR 40 for Indians and INR 300 for foreigners.
Birla Mandir
White marble temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It has intricate carvings, stained glass windows and a serene atmosphere. It is also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
Timings are 6:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is no entry fee.
Kanak Vrindavan Garden
Lush green garden that was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for his queen. It has fountains, pavilions, statues and flower beds. It is also a popular spot for picnics and photography.
Timings are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Entry fee: INR 10 for Indians and INR 50 for foreigners.
Chokhi Dhani
A cultural village resort that offers a glimpse of the traditional Rajasthani lifestyle. You can enjoy folk dances, puppet shows, camel rides, pottery and authentic cuisine here.
Timings are 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Entry fee: INR 750 for adults and INR 450 for children.
